Committee on Science and Education
Recommends to accept in the
first reading the amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Education” in respect of
a free access of persons with special educational needs to educational services irregardless of disability.
The appropriate decision was approved under bill No.6437.
The committee meeting
also considered the draft law on protection of rights for semi-conductor
products assembly under No.5694. The draft is aimed at meeting obligations by
Ukraine in harmonizing the EU and the Ukrainian legislations regarding assembly
of integrated topographies.
Committee on European Integration
The committee held hearings on
the ‘losses and gains’ to Ukraine in the migration processes towards the EU. It was
stressed that increasing leakage of labour force, rise of population ageing,
youth drain and notably unfavourable demographic trend could be the most challenging
factors likely to be pushed by the visa free regime in the nearest future.
The panel acknowledged
the government’s priorities to be among widening of social and legal protection
of migrant workers through bilateral and multilateral international agreements,
and appropriate job creation for Ukrainians. The speakers also touched upon Ukraine’s
conventional obligations as to refugee and stateless persons protection.

Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism
Recommends the Verkhovna Rada
to adopt amendments No.5616 to the Law of Ukraine “On Physical Culture and Sports”. The draft bill gives rise to employment
related sports and martial arts.
Committee on Budget
Verkhovna Rada to take into consideration the report on realization of the Law
of Ukraine “On State Budget of Ukraine for 2016”.
Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement
Verkhovna Rada to accept the first reading of the law on operational
investigations under bill No.6284.
