Headline: Second session of the joint Belarus-France Commission on Economic Cooperation is held in Paris

On May 26, 2016 Paris hosted the second session of the joint Belarus-France Commission on Economic Cooperation. The Belarusian delegation is headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alena Kupchyna, French delegation is lead by the Head of the Service of Bilateral Relations of the General Directorate of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance, Sandrine Gaudin.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in the areas of trade, industry, agriculture, transport, tourism, interregional cooperation and the development of the legal framework of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting of the joint Commission, the sides signed the Interagency Agreement between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Sea of the French Republic on the environmental cooperation and sustainable development.

The parties also signed the protocol of the meeting of the joint Commission that defines the areas of cooperation for a year.
