Headline: Andriy Parubiy again urged to continue the current session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine till fall

On Monday, the Chairman of the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy, while opening the meeting of the Board of
leaders of factions and chairmen of parliamentary committees (Pogodzhuvalna
Rada), made a proposal – not to close the current session of the Verkhovna Rada
of Ukraine this week, as it was planned earlier.

“At the front our militaries have
fixed revitalization of actions by the Russian occupation forces. The
Intelligence service reports about the plans of the enemy to intensify the
fighting at the front in August – early September,” – he said, adding that
“all Kremlin forces are trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine at
the front, in the international arena and inside the country.”

The Chairman of the Parliament mentioned
that “we are witnessing how one of the religious organizations in Ukraine,
which has its spiritual center in the aggressor country, mobilizes a large
number of its faithful and gathers them in Kyiv on July 26, calling it a
peaceful sacred procession of the cross.” In addition, there is
information that the Kremlin has prepared a scenario of provocations on the
streets of Kyiv on 26 July. Apart from really peaceful believers, provocateurs
with banned extremist symbols and symbols of the aggressor country are dragged.

In
this context Andriy Parubiy called management of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs and SSU to conduct preventive conversations with the initiators of these
religious actions and to respond to the attempts to provoke civilians to a
fights and mass disorders.
