Headline: Aleksandr Gorovoy's working trip to Vladivostok
During the trip to Vladivostok, representative of the Organizing Committee of the II Eastern Economic Forum First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Colonel General of Police Aleksandr Gorovoy will assess the readiness to ensure public safety at the EEF, the system of communication and interaction among the law enforcement agencies.
The second Eastern Economic Forum will open on September 2 and will take place at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. About 2,500 participants from 30 countries will arrive to Vladivostok. The Forum includes an intense business and cultural program.
The plenary meeting will become the central event: it will gather together the leaders of the Russian Federation, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Representative delegations are expected to arrive from China, India, Vietnam, Laos, and Nicaragua. Top managers of foreign companies from 28 countries have confirmed their participation in the EEF.
Aleksandr Gorovoy will control issues related to public safety, as well as coordination of resources, means and efforts of the law enforcement agencies during the days of the II Eastern Economic Forum.
Within his working trip, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation will visit the Vladivostok Branch of the Far-Eastern Legal University of the Russian MIA where he will congratulate the personnel on the new academic year and present officer shoulder boards. The rank of Police Junior Lieutenant was awarded to 41 students – future investigators and operations officers.
