Headline: Immoweb welcomes Valentin Cogels as CEO
After leading Immoweb for 11 years as CEO and shareholder, Christophe Rousseaux, 43, will be succeeded by Valentin Cogels as CEO of Immoweb, the leading real estate portal in Belgium, effective October 17. Christophe Rousseaux joined Immoweb in 2000, to become CEO in 2005. He will however remain active in the company as Executive Vice President and Member of the Board as well as a shareholder.
Valentin Cogels, 39, new CEO of Immoweb
Valentin Cogels, 39, holding a Master in Economics from the IAG (UCL) and an MBA at Insead, began his career as a consultant (KPMG, Thomson Financial, Bain & Co) before joining Ebay (Belgium and International). In 2010, he co-founded Koala, the leading Swiss online retailer of shoes, and then ran the company for four years. From 2014, he was CEO of Victoria Company, a leader in direct sales of jewelry in Belgium and France.
