Dear colleagues! Dear friends!I heartily congratulate you on the coming New Year!
The outgoing year was full of important events. To begin with, we have accomplished another stage of the Russian MIA reorganization, including structural transformations. The powers of the migration and counter-drug services have been delegated to the Ministry, while certain divisions of the internal affairs bodies have been included into the newly established Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, which is caused by today’s demands.
The Single Voting Day undoubtedly became a significant event. During that period, employees of the internal affairs bodies had to cope with a vast workload and tremendous responsibility. All the tasks set to us were fulfilled.
In general, the expiring year was characterized by reduction in the crime rate, namely in the number of thefts, robberies and brigandage, which is critical for the population. Those results have become possible owing to the efficient work and high professional excellence of our employees.
The coming 2017 year sets to the Russian MIA new tasks related to strengthening law compliance and order in the country. We are looking to the future with optimism and sincerely hope for the best. However, we should remember that success can only be achieved through hard work.
On the eve of the holiday, I would like to thank all the personnel for the committed work and loyalty to the duty. I heartily congratulate your families for the understanding and support.
I would like to express a special gratitude to the veterans of the internal affairs bodies for their invaluable help in the development of young specialists, for the preservation and augmentation of the renowned traditions of the service.
I would also like to individually congratulate the citizens taking an active part in the protection of public order. Your disinterested aid and personal involvement have many times helped us to prevent crimes, ensure comfort and safety.
We should always remember about those who will meet the New Year night on duty protecting order and comfortable recreation of Russian citizens during this holiday period.
I congratulate all of you on the coming New Year! Let the New Year bring you fulfillment of your cherished desires and hopes, open new horizons, and become a fruitful period for success and achievements in your lives and professional activities!
