Through
November 22 to 25, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii
Reva shall participate in the international conference
Social Dialogue and the Future of Work, which takes place in Athens, Greece,
and has been jointly organized by the International Labour
Organization (ILO), the International Association of Economic and Social
Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) and the Economic and Social Council
of Greece (OKE).

The
delegation of Ukraine also comprises Hryhorii Osovy, Co-chairman of the National Council from trade unions,
Head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine; Serhii
Bilenky, Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association of
Regional  Organizations of Employers of the
Enterprises of Metallurgical Complex “Federation of Metallurgists of
Ukraine”, member of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine; Viacheslav Mayboroda, Chief
Specialist of the Department of International Affairs of the Federation of
Trade Unions of Ukraine. A representative of the International Labor
Organization is Serhii Savchuk,
the National Coordinator of the ILO in Ukraine.

The
objective of the Conference is to discuss the important transformations that
are taking place in the world of work and to identify actions Economic and
Social Councils and Similar Institutions can take to help shape the future of
work in a manner that best serves the interest of employers, workers and
society at large. 

Among the
topic for the discussions are Experience and Vision of International
Organizations and Institutions on the Future of Work within the framework of
the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030; Labor and Society; Decent Work for Everyone.

The event brings
together tripartite representatives of economic and social councils and similar
institutions from all regions, along with experts from international
organizations. Apart from the tripartite representatives there are
participating in the Forum members of the UN Department of Economic and Social
Affairs, The World Bank, World Economic Forum. Moderators
of the panel discussions and sessions are ILO members.
