Headline: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko participates in the opening of the business forum of the Central European Initiative
On December 4, 2017 within the framework of Belarus’ Chairmanship of the Central European Initiative, Minsk hosted a business forum on Energy Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Technologies.
The event was attended by representatives of companies and relevant governmental authorities of several CEI participating states. The Republic of Belarus was represented by the leadership of the State Committee for Standardization, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Industry, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, also took part in the opening of the business forum.
In his statement, O.Kravchenko emphasized the importance of cooperation of the CEI member countries in developing an environmentally sustainable and resource-saving economy in the region. The Deputy Minister also presented the participants with the address from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Semashko.
