Drug Control Unit of the MIA of Russia Administration acted as organizers of children tournament “Path of Special Force”

On June 5, the day of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the police in the Yaroslavl District of the Yaroslavl Region, another regional tournament “Path of Special Force” in special and applied sports among classes and “Young Friends of Police” squads was held. The organizers of the event were the Drug Control Unit of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Yaroslavl Region together with the Children and Youth Center “Yaroslavich”.
Deputy Chief of the Drug Control Unit of the MIA of Russia Administration, Lieutenant Colonel Bahadur Nadyrovich Kadyrov and the commander of the special purpose detachment “Grom”, Colonel of the Police, Denis Vladimirovich Alov, addressed the children. Policemen wished them good luck, patience and determination, necessary for passing through all the stages of the tournament.
The main goal of the event is to create conditions for the legal and civic education of students of educational organizations. The tournament was attended by kids from 10 squads of law enforcement orientation. More than 60 boys and girls came from different municipal districts to compete in grenade throwing, shooting from pneumatic guns, assembling and disassembling a carbine and a pistol, filling the AKM-74 magazine. Check their strength, as well as theoretical training: knowledge of the memorable dates in the history of the Fatherland and the rules of providing first aid.
The final test for the kids was the “Special Forces Obstacle Course”. Participants had to cross a ravine using a rope crossing, get over the wall, climb through the trenches and run through artificial obstacles.
Each test helped the kids show their best qualities, as well as develop the team spirit. As a result of the competition, the winner of the tournament was the squad of the Young Friends of Police squad “Grom”. Team and individual winners and prizewinners were awarded with certificates and memorable gifts.
