Today in the cultural center of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Omsk Region a solemn ceremony of closing the final stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skill among criminal investigation officers for the title “Best in the profession” was held.
The competition, traditionally held on the basis of the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, was attended by best criminal investigation officers of 83 territorial bodies of the internal affairs. During the competition, they demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, both in the field of legislation, and in physical and fire training.
Head of the Administration for Operational Investigative Activities of the MIA of Russia GA for Criminal Investigation Colonel of Police A.V. Shchurov thanked those present for participating in the competitions, noting that officers of criminal investigation units play a leading role in the detection, solving and prevention of crimes. “Thanks to your professionalism, your daily painstaking work the principle of the inevitability of punishment is being implemented,” stressed Andrei Shchurov,
Contestants adequately coped with the tasks and showed high results, demonstrated excellent physical training, endurance, as well as theoretical knowledge of the regulatory framework governing the activities of law enforcement bodies.
As a result, Criminal Investigation officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Leninsky District of the MIA of Russia GA for the Volgograd Region, Senior Lieutenant Ivan Tsaplin became the best in the profession.
The second place in a tough struggle went to police Major Pavel Boytsov, Operative for particularly important cases of the A Division of the Criminal Investigation Administration of the MIA of Russia GA for Moscow. The third result was shown by Senior detective of the Criminal Investigation Administration of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Omsk Region, Major of Police Aleksandr Ivanov.
The event was completed with the solemn awarding of winners and prize-winners of the contest and a concert of ensembles and groups of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Omsk Region and the Omsk Academy of the MIA of Russia.
