The police received a complaint from a foreign citizen born in 1993 about loss of his folder with the tickets to a football match to be held in Samara.
Having questioned the complainant, policemen established that he and his compatriot had arrived to Russia for the FIFA World Cup in Ulyanovsk and then had come to Samara by train. After the check-in in a hotel, the man found out that his folder with the tickets to the sports event had disappeared.
Officers of the internal affairs bodies contacted colleagues from the transport police who identified the train that had by that moment arrived to the terminal station in Ulyanovsk. Law enforcement officers from Ulyanovsk examined the rolling stock and found the lost documents that were after that delivered to Samara. After the appropriate procedures, the policemen returned the tickets to the owners.
The fans gave a strong handshake to the policemen and thanked them for their prompt help.
