Passenger buses with Egyptian fans were going from the airport in Astrakhan to Volgograd that hosted a football match of the FIFA World Cup that evening. However, due to road works the bus and the microbus with 46 Egyptian tourists began to lag – the fans could have missed the match of their national team.
On the border with the Volgograd Region, the driver of the group contacted officers of the Traffic Police and asked them to provide assistance and accompany the delayed buses with the football fans. The police immediately responded to the request, and the Egyptian fans were at the entrance to the Volgograd Arena stadium half an hour before the match. The guests sincerely thanked the Volgograd police for the help.
