Officers of a detached squadron of the Road Patrol Service of the Russian MIA Division for the Temryuksky District Police Lieutenant Andrey Ezhov and Junior Police Lieutenant Vadim Adamasov found a wallet with cash and bank cards at a local filling station.
The officers questioned the witnesses, but that did not help to identify the owner of the find. The road policemen studied the video records from the CCTVs installed at the filling station and identified the car used by potential owners of the wallet. Having found the car owner’s telephone number, the law enforcement officers notified the man of the find.
Spouses Anton Mitrofanov and Alina Mitrofanova from Saint Petersburg told the policemen that they were driving for vacations to the Republic of Crimea. They stopped at the filling station to refuel the car, after which continued their traveling. The spouses did not even notice the loss of the wallet. When the Traffic Police inspectors of the Temryuksky District phoned them, the young people were pleasantly surprised.
The spouses sincerely thanked the traffic policemen who had helped them not to spoil their summer vacations, as well as congratulated the Traffic Police inspectors on their professional holiday and wished them success in their future service.
