Employees of a store approached policemen serving at the railway station in Samara and handed over documents and tickets for a train and a football match left by a foreign tourist.
The policemen immediately reported the find to the duty unit and field police squads and notified volunteers. The law enforcement officers questioned witnesses at the store and checked the videos from the CCTVs in order to identify the direction where the owner of the documents had gone. The police inspected the railway station and the adjoining area.
After a while, the policemen received a notification from colleagues from the Srednevolzhskoye Linear Administration for Transport of the Russian MIA about a foreign tourist – owner of the left belongings who had applied to them.
After the appropriate procedures, the police returned the tickets and documents to the owner. The football fan gave a strong handshake to the policemen and thanked them for the prompt help. Due to that incident, the tourist could have missed the coming match, but the policemen helped the foreigner to timely get to the stadium: they accompanied him in the police car to a public transport station and controlled that he caught the shuttle going to the Samara Arena.
