Chief of the Russian MIA Administration for the Smolensk Region Police Major-General Vasily Salyutin received a letter of gratitude from a woman residing in the Roslavlsky District. The woman thanks Chief of the Migration Control Division of the Administration for Migration Issues of the Russian MIA Administration for the Smolensk Region Lieutenant Colonel of Police Sergey Matveev.
“Please, express gratitude from my family to S. Matveev,” the letter reads. “That sympathetic and polite man will always hear one out and help in word and deed. My family arrived from Donetsk. Not knowing the laws, I and my children have applied to him several times, and now we are on the right track and are submitting documents for temporary residence. God grant health and longevity to this man. Please, express appreciation to S. Matveev. There are few such people as he.”
The woman with five children came to the Smolensk Region from Donetsk and applied to the Migration Control Division of the Administration for Migration Issues to receive migration cards for her children and to register them in the migration database. Chief of the Division Police Lieutenant-Colonel Sergey Matveev explained her all the details of the procedure and provided necessary recommendations. By the moment, the woman has received the documents and is obtaining a temporary residence permit. In future, the woman and her family are going to apply for citizenship of the Russian Federation.
