The MIA of Russia Inter-municipal Division “Yaransky” was contacted by a resident of Yaransk expressing her gratitude to the policeman who had helped her 11-year-old grandson injured in an accident.
On July 8, about 14:00, in the town of Yaransk, Senior Inspector of the Traffic Police of the MIA of Russia Inter-municipal Division “Yaransky” in the Kirov Region, Senior Lieutenant of Police Semyon Kutyugov, on his way to the place of service, saw a boy of 11 jumping and felling awkwardly from the bridge across the Lamba river and getting a serious injury.
The inspector ran to the child. In the area of his thigh, a deep dissection was visible. The victim experienced a pain shock, he shouted loudly and called for help. The policeman rendered first aid to the boy, put him into a patrol car and promptly delivered him to the hospital.
The next day the grandmother of the boy came to the division of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the MIA of Russia Inter-municipal Division “Yaransky”. According to her, the grandson came to her from St. Petersburg for vacations, and she was very worried by the incident. The woman warmly thanked the traffic police officer for his indifference and timely actions, which helped to avoid serious consequences for the boy.
