Officer of the Patrol and Inspection Service of the police of the Russian MIA Division for urban district Lobnya Police Sergeant Evgeny Rylov won gold medal at the European Championships in summer Olympic sports in Glasgow. He won the 200 m backstroke having set a new European record.
Earlier, Evgeny Rylov took the second place in the 100 m backstroke.
Evgeny Rylov was born on September 23, 1996 in Novotroitsk of the Orenburg Region. He began his career in the internal affairs bodies at the Patrol and Inspection Service of the police of the Russian MIA Division for urban district Lobnya in June 2015. He is currently a student of the Moscow State Academy of Physical Education.
He is the world and European champion, the bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympics and honored master of sports. Evgeny Rylov competes for the Dynamo Society.
