Investigation Administration of the MIA of Russia Inter-District Administration “Biyskoye” sent to court a criminal case against a 66-year-old woman – director of one of the theaters of the city. The head of the theater is accused of embezzlement of budget funds.
According to the investigation, the head of the theater, with the aim of stealing budget funds, accrued money to four fictitious theater workers in the form of wages and bonuses. For almost three years, she appropriated these funds and disposed of them at her own discretion. In total in the specified period the offender stole more than one million rubles.
The defendant partially acknowledged the guilt of committing the alleged crime, the damage caused to the budget was not voluntarily compensated.
The theater director is charged with committing a crime under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud, that is stealing someone else’s property by deceit and abuse of confidence committed by a person using his official position, on a particularly large scale”.
