HOCHTIEF has been listed in the internationally renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) reflecting its positive social, environmental and economic performance. HOCHTIEF has been included in the DJSI for 13 consecutive years.
The Group achieved a top-3 ranking in the global construction industry.  HOCHTIEF’s quoted Group company CIMIC is also in the corresponding Australian sustainability index. “We are committed to further enhancing our focus on sustainability,” said Marcelino Fernández Verdes, CEO of HOCHTIEF. “Furthermore, HOCHTIEF cooperates with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and, as a member of the United Nations Global Compact, it supports the latter’s principles on labor standards, environmental protection and corporate responsibility.”
