Today in Izhevsk, the State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Igor Zubov, held a meeting at which he introduced to the staff the new Minister of Internal Affairs of the Udmurt Republic, Colonel of Police Aleksey Popov.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Udmurt Republic Yaroslav Semenov, representatives of the legislative, judicial and executive authorities of the region, heads of law enforcement bodies.
In his speech, Igor Zubov wished the new Chief success in his career: “I have no doubt that basing on the best traditions, knowledge and experience of the staff of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, you will be able to solve the entire complex of operational and official tasks facing the Ministry.”
Aleksey Popov in his reply thanked the leadership of the ministry for the confidence in him, he noted that he was proud of his appointment to the republic, which was the “arms heart” of Russia, and assured that the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Udmurt Republic would continue its active interaction with state authorities and civil society institutions.
At the end of the event, the State Secretary – Deputy Minister awarded departmental awards to officers who achieved high results in their professional activities.
