First Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Police Colonel-General Aleksandr Gorovoy made a working trip to the Primorsky Territory, where he headed the work of the Interdepartmental Operational Staff and the Center for Operational Management of Forces and Means in Public Security Issues during the Fourth Eastern Economic Forum.
To coordinate the forces, means and actions of law enforcement agencies, the First Deputy-Minister held a number of working meetings, including a meeting with the provisional Governor of the Primorsky Territory, Andrey Tarasenko, and interdepartmental meetings. Also, control over the activities of the operational headquarters in the glide zone and the zone of accreditation of the Vladivostok International Airport was organized.
At the end of the working trip, Aleksandr Gorovoy summed up the work of law enforcement bodies during the preparation and holding of the international forum and expressed gratitude to the staff who had taken part in the protection of public order and security at the forum.
The IV Eastern Economic Forum was successfully held on the site of the Far Eastern Federal University. About 6 thousand representatives of more than 60 foreign countries took part in the event.
