“Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea documented the fact of giving a bribe to a police officer by a person detained on suspicion of illegal activities,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
As a result of preventive measures, the police in the territory of a private household in one of the villages in the Kirovskiy District found 19 bushes of hemp. A local resident, allegedly cultivating the drug-containing plant, was detained.
“During the execution of the procedural documents, the man, while in the police car, offered money to the police officers for exempting him from administrative responsibility and immediately put $ 20,000 on the seat. Despite being warned by the police about the wrongfulness of his actions, the offender insisted on the transfer of funds,” added I. Volk.
The Kirovskiy Inter-District Investigation Division of the GA for Investigation for the Republic of Crimea of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case against the defendant based on the features of the crime under part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code.
