In my own name and on behalf of the whole Polish nation, I convey expressions of deep sympathy over the anti-Semitic attack committed at a synagogue in Pittsburg, Polish President Andrzej Duda wrote in a condolence message to US President Donald Trump.
“We join the American nation in prayer and sadness,” Sunday’s message continued.
“Both I and my Countrymen are shaken by news coming from the United States,” Andrzej Duda wrote in his message to President Trump. “I convey in my own name and on behalf of the whole Polish nation expressions of deep sympathy over the occurrence of an attack of anti-Semitic nature committed at the ‘Tree of Life’ synagogue in Pittsburgh, in which the lives were taken of many innocent people gathered to pray.”
“I offer you, Mr President, the most sincere condolences for the families and loved ones of the victims of this great tragedy. I would like to offer wishes of the swiftest return to health to all those harmed as a result of the actions of a deranged attacker,” the president wrote. “We join the American nation in prayer and sadness.”
