In Tchaikovsky, the Perm Territory, a 44-year-old local resident faced a trial. He was found guilty of selling drugs and keeping a drug den.
The investigation established that for one month the man systematically provided his apartment to drug addicts for the use of prohibited substances. He received as payment for the premises, food, syringes and narcotic drugs. In order to hide the traces of the criminal activity, the offender regularly cleaned the dwelling.
In addition, police officers established the involvement of the man in three facts of sale of acetylated opium, as well as of illegal possession of drugs.
The court sentenced the defendant to 7 years’ imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a strict regime penal colony.
