Officers of the Administration for Migration Issues of the MIA of Russia GA for the Chelyabinsk Region suppressed the illegal labor activity of four citizens of CIS countries in one of the city’s restaurants specializing in national cuisine.
Foreign workers engaged in labor activity without patents were held administratively liable pursuant to Article 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for illegal employment in the Russian Federation and were levied with a fine of 2,000 rubles.
Two foreigners illegally staying in the territory of Russia were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for violating the regime of stay in the Russian Federation. In relation to the offenders, the Traktorozavodsky District Court of Chelyabinsk took decisions on their administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation, with a subsequent ban of entry for five years. Foreigners will be waiting for the execution of the court decision in the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens of the MIA of Russia GA for the Chelyabinsk Region.
Currently, work is underway to bring the employer to administrative responsibility under Article 18.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for illegal involvement of foreign workers in the Russian Federation in work activities. The entrepreneur faces a fine of up to 800 thousand rubles for each foreign worker or an administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days.
