Working visit of Aleksandr Gorovoy to Perm

Today, during a working visit to Perm, First Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Gorovoy took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of the Administration for Migration Issues of the MIA of Russia GA for the Perm Territory together with the governor of Kama area Maxim Reshetnikov and Chief of the Regional GA of Internal Affairs, Major General of Police Mikhail Davydov.
First Deputy-Minister congratulated the staff of the Administration for Migration Issues with the housewarming. “It is always pleasant to be in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, whose leaders strive to ensure a systemic approach to the provision of services to the population on any issues at the highest level. Thanks to the participation of the regional authorities, it became possible to transfer the premises to the balance of internal affairs bodies and equip the center with all the necessary equipment,” noted Aleksandr Gorovoy.
The Chief of the regional police GA, Mikhail Davydov, added that the reconstruction of the building was carried out in such a way that the process of providing public services was operational, high-quality and convenient for citizens. People with limited mobility who need public services in the migration sphere are also surrounded by special care. The honored guests talked to the first visitors of the Administration for Migration Issues, inspected the reception room for citizens and offices.
Further, in the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Perm, a monument was opened to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District, Colonel-General of Police Pyotr Mikhailovich Latyshev. Since 1986 to 1991, this outstanding person headed the Perm City Executive Committee’s Department of Internal Affairs.
The significant event for the regional center was held as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian police and was initiated by veterans of internal affairs bodies.
Aleksander Gorovoy expressed his gratitude to the retired officers for their concern for preserving the memory of outstanding people who devoted their lives to serving the law.
“In the Internal Affairs Administration for the city of Perm, my colleague, Pyotr Mikhailovich, was at the cradle of the operational registration and the creation of a unit unique for that time – the operational search division of the criminal investigation unit. Later, he became the Chief of the Internal Affairs Administration for the Krasnodar Territory, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. As the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia, Pyotr Latyshev coordinated the state policy in various regions of the federal district,” said the First Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs.
According to the tradition, the participants of the event honored with a minute of silence the memory of all the veterans of the internal affairs bodies.
