Igor Zubov took part in opening the Joint Information and Coordination Center of Internal Affairs Bodies in the city of Tskhinval

Today in the city of Tskhinval, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Zubov took part in the opening ceremony of the Joint Information and Coordination Center of the Internal Affairs Bodies in the Republic of South Ossetia.
The South-Ossetian delegation at the event was headed by President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov.
Speaking to the participants of the ceremony, Igor Zubov congratulated those present on opening a center of such a level and noted that there were no analogues to it at the moment.
The Joint Center was established within the framework of implementing the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on Alliance and Integration of March 18, 2015 and the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on the procedure for the formation and operation of the Joint Information and Coordination Center of the Internal Affairs Bodies of July 4, 2016. The main objectives of the new structure will be the conducting of coordinated activities in the fight against organized crime, the exchange of operationally-important information, assistance in the search for persons who have committed crimes.
