A large batch of cocaine, hashish and “Ecstasy” was confiscated by operatives from a resident of Kemerovo

Officers of the Drug Control Unit of the Police Division “Rudnichnyi” of the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Kemerovo received information that an 18-year-old local resident was involved in the distribution of prohibited substances in the city.
During operative-search activities the Police detained the suspect. In the course of a personal search, police officers confiscated from pockets of his clothes packages with drugs that were ready for sale. In addition, from the caches, which the young man had managed to make, the policemen seized several more packages with prohibited substances. The results of the forensic study showed that the seized substances were cocaine and hashish with a total weight of more than 13 grams.
Police officers searched the offender’s place of residence and found, as a result, about 390 grams of cocaine, hashish and “ecstasy” intended for distribution in a non-contact way, as well as scales, packing tools, packaging materials and a laptop containing information about the caches.
The suspects were prosecuted in accordance with the features of a crime stipulated by part 4 of Article 228 of the RF Criminal Code “Illegal production, sale or transportation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogs”.
