At the 321st kilometer of the Kazan-Orenburg highway, in the Bugulminsky District of the Republic, officers of the specialized traffic police battalion of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan, Senior Lieutenant of Police Renat Nasybullin and Junior Sergeant of Police Adel Faritov saw a car on the side of the road, near which there was an elderly driver, trying to release the vehicle from the snow trap. The driver told the police that the car suddenly skidded and got stuck in the snow. All the attempts to independently get out of the snow trap were unsuccessful.
The guards of the road warmed the driver in distress in the cabin of their patrol car, gave him hot tea, and then stopped a passing grader which helped to return the vehicle to the roadway. As it turned out, the incident was caused by a flat tire. The Traffic Police inspectors replaced the flat tire and the man was able to safely continue his journey.
