Police detained residents of a communal apartment in the Moscow Region suspected of selling and storing drugs

Officers of the Drug Control Division of the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Korolev as a result of conducting operational-search measures, detained a 38-year-old native of Nizhnekamsk and a 27-year-old native of Vladikavkaz, suspected of distributing and possessing drugs.
It was established that the woman in the entrance of one of the houses sold a bundle of heroin weighing about 1 gram. In addition, on the same day, the suspect’s neighbor was detained by policemen, in whose backpack, during a personal search, the police found and seized six press packs of heroin and two packs of marijuana. When conducting a search in the apartment of the suspects the police found packs with similar drugs. In total, over 500 grams of marijuana and about 7 grams of heroin were seized during the event.
The detainees were prosecuted under Article 228 “Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, procession of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues” and Article 228.1 “Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
