“Officers of the Russian Bureau of Interpol delivered to Russia from the Kingdom of Thailand two citizens accused of committing crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.
“According to the preliminary investigation, Aleksey Dolzhenkov, born in 1983, illegally organized a financial company in Stavropol and helped interested legal entities in obtaining cash for a fee,” said Irina Volk.
On this fact the investigators initiated a criminal case on the grounds of crime stipulated by part 2 of Art. 172 of the RF Criminal Code. In September 2018, he was put on the international wanted list.
“Stanislav Zheman, born in 1987, charged with committing a crime, provided for by part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was also transferred to officers of the MIA of Russia. It was established that the offender, when staying in Krasnoyarsk in the apartment of his girlfriend, in the midst of a conflict, beat her and stole valuables and money. Then he left Russia and on the basis of a request of the MIA of Russia GA for the Krasnoyarsk Territory was put on the wanted list,” the official representative of the department added.
As a result of operational-search activities, the offenders were detained in the Kingdom of Thailand, after which they were extradited. Today, accompanied by officers of the Russian Bureau of Interpol, they were delivered to Moscow.
