“Officers of the Drug Control Administration of the MIA of Russia GA for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, together with the FSB of Russia, detained a suspect in the smuggling of drugs.As a result of operational-search measures, after crossing the state border of the Russian Federation at the Ivangorod border checkpoint, a Cadillac car was stopped run by a 46-year-old resident of St. Petersburg. In respect of the defendant, the court selected a preventive measure in the form of remand in custody,” said the MIA of Russia Spokesperson Irina Volk.
