self-sufficiency of communities and their ability to provide quality services for
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
stated this, opening a meeting over issues concerning association of territorial
communities with Sokyriany district, Chernivtsi region as an example, on Friday, 10 June.
Minister pointed out that the decentralization reform had already shown positive
results, particularly fiscal decentralization
initiated a significant increase in revenues to the local budgets. According
to him, these resources are enhancing the ability of communities to address

the centers of administrative services of the communities should be focused on
people, while citizens should receive administrative services efficiently and
is only one – a self-sufficient community should be able to provide these
services without the help of the state. This is an ultimate goal of our joint
reform,” underlined Volodymyr Groysman.
Minister said that the association of communities would increase their ability to
address urgent problems while they would save their self-sufficiency.

of his working trip to Chernivtsi region, Volodymyr Groysman visited Sokyriany central hospital and met with residents of the
